Good Food Ireland 'Meet the Grower' Stephen Gould
Local food hero Stephen Gould is in store with us at the Delicatessen on the last Saturday in April (24th April) with samples of his wide range of herbs and mixed leaves. 'Steve's leaves' have become the stuff of legend at RUA and there's really nothing available anywhere to compare to his bold , full flavoured mixed bags of delicious leaves and herbs . No better man to ask a few questions of if you're planting a few bits yourself this Spring .

Cheese of the Month: Gorgonzola Dolce
A medium strong Cow's milk blue cheese from Piedmont in Italy, Gorgonzola Dolce is the 'sweeter' gorgonzola - milder and much softer than its Natuale or Piccante counterparts. It is made using pasteurised cow's milk and is aged for 3 months. It is very creamy and almost spreadable in texture with a light piquancy... and it's delicious crumbled on a steak!
